A SZŰCS FOGADÓJA

It is so nice when a restaurant is self-identical. It wants to be nothing more or nothing less than what it is. I think the Szűcs fogadója brings exactly that balance and that's why so many people love the monument of Szada so much. An important preamble is that we had tried to get a reservation (on time!) three times before, but simply could not gain admission due to their full house at the weekend. I couldn't believe it! I was a little annoyed, but then I thought that they must know something if they are being chosen by so many people in these rather struggling times for hospitality. SZŐLŐSI KOCSMA

It has never crossed my mind that going to a pub was cool until Szőlősi Kocsma has proved that it is! It was a brilliant idea from the owner of the Balaton restaurant to keep the name of the former art institution, guaranteed to be remembered by all. We went there once in the summer and had a delicious meal. If you have never been to Balatonszőlős, you would not believe what is going on here! A gastronomic paradise is blooming only a few minutes from Balatonfüred, in a small village of 600 inhabitants, which is home to three renowned restaurants.
